The main concept of the strategy is that the longer that a 75-ball bingo plays on for, the more likely that the balls drawn are closer to 38 – the median number. If the game is shorter, the balls are drawn are more likely to be in the upper and lower quartiles – they’ll be closer to 1 and 75.
Some tips for playing with the Tippett bingo strategy:
- Choose cards with numbers surrounding 1 and 75 mark (the upper and lower quartiles) – Ideally 1 – 19 and 57-75 for shorter games
- Choose bingo cards numbers surrounding 38 mark (the median) – Ideally 20 – 56 for longer games
- If possible, you should bring a selection of cards into each game, one in each ballpark to maximise chances in the game
